He graduated from the University of Zimbabwe with LLB (Hons) inMarch 2009 and was awarded the Dumbutschena Endowment Prize. Affectionately known amongst his colleagues as “CJ”, he joined the firm in February 2010 and since then he has shown keen interest in formulation and implementation of the firm’s Conveyancing. Tinashe is a meticulous litigator who has proved most effective in labour litigation and debt recovery for portfolios including Delta Beverages; High Perfomance Lubes (Pvt) Ltd t/a Castrol; CBZ Insurance amongst others. Tinashe is also a competent project legal lawyer and serves in both the Litigation and Corporate Divisions of the firm. He assisted the Partners in establishing the Harare Office and became the first resident lawyer for the office. Appointed Partner in August 2018, Tinashe’s main areas of practice are Property Law, Civil and Criminal Litigation, Corporate Law, Labour Law and debt recovery.  He is the resident Partner for the Harare branch.

He is currently a member of Nyadire Teacher’s College Advisory Council (2017 to date) and also sits on the United Methodist Church Pension Fund Board (2015 to date). He holds a Certificate of Proficiency in Pension Fund Trusteeship with the Zimbabwe Association of Pension Fund (ZAPF), awarded with a Distinct class.
